One for sorrow two for joy,
This world needs help - DO NOT DESTROY!
the signs read on most American public parks,
but who regulates polluting corporate-jerks?

My house was burned down in the riot,
All I want is peace and quiet.
You've got that quiet; how long did the riot last?;
The riots will soon be lost in the fading past.
They never really go away -
Sentences passed, only to live to fight another day.
in England. Germans bombed, now Brits riot locally;
headlines read: These are your children, England.
social dislocation could be at the root -
but is that a reason to loot loot loot?
Yes; they think things will only worsen,
expressing it by looting & arson.
Well one can only hope they're wrong,

but shares are down and faces long
among mad day-traders assume gain
comes with minimal financial pain.
the pain belongs to those who suffer,

their homes burned down,no financial buffer
I saw shops on Main St. square lit on fire,
not flats set back behind a picket fence

- the fence had spikes, but nobody told 'em -
and all the readies in the world couldn't hold 'em.
Ready for what? was never explained.
Result: some of Us are being detained.

But things are back to 'normal' now,

The Royals have been, let's all just bow
per fashion. Americans bow in ditsy courtesy,
assuming it required by Royals across-the-sea.
when really all the Royals require is wealth
and then you too can enter in, by stealth.
Americans imagine all royals are born stylish
& grow moreso with age; don't Royals wish!

but surely you all see the only one style-ful
was Diana, our Princess, whose death caused denial.
Americans imagined her as royally angelic,
that she died the way she did, royally tragic.

the 'People's Princess', as she was known,
into everyone's hearts had grown.
Yes, she had a worshipful global following,
even a Polaka here where I live. Amazing!
